YOUR ROLE

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing data science team and to help us leverage data to drive business growth and innovation.

 

As a Senior Data Scientist at CEVA Logistics/Chronotruck, you will actively participate in the digitalization of global road transportation. Your role will involve working on projects related to Chronotruck and CEVA Logistics, combining autonomy and expertise to shape the future of logistics.

This role is open in Puteaux, Paris.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

· Develop new predictive algorithms using advanced machine learning techniques.

· Maintain numerous existing algorithms, optimizing their performance and adapting them to evolving needs.

· Work on original data-related issues, both unique and varied, in the world of transportation.

· Participate in the implementation and management of natural language models (LLM) to anticipate future needs.

· Work in tandem with the experienced data engineer for the technical deployment/maintenance of algorithms.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

· Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, machine learning or a related discipline from a tier-1 institute

· Proven expertise as a Data Scientist, with solid experience in developing and maintaining machine learning algorithms.

· Advanced mathematical skills and the ability to autonomously address new and original problems.

· Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git.

· Successful experience in deploying ML algorithms in real-world contexts.

· Business-oriented, user-experience-focused, and capable of solving problems pragmatically.

· Fluent French and English are required.

· Knowledge of Python, Airflow, PostgreSQL, DBT, FastAPI, H3 (Uber), Metabase, LangChain is a plus.
