About the Role:
Boston Scientific is a global leader in medical technology, committed to improving patient outcomes through innovation. We are seeking a Digital Product Owner, AI Solutions, to lead the development and delivery of AI/GenAI programs that support our enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions, optimize platform architectures, and drive value across the organization.  
 

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our Marlborough, MA office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborates to deliver and align the AI/GenAI technology stack and associated programs with the strategic roadmap, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with value delivery goals.
  • Drives technical execution by managing and overseeing specific AI/GenAI programs in close partnership with data science, engineering, and digital product teams, as well as platform owners across the organization.
  • Partners with cross-functional technical teams to identify opportunities for scaling AI/GenAI capabilities, optimize platform architectures, and implement reusable solutions.
  • Coordinates closely with IT and business teams to prioritize programs and ensure allocation of skilled technical resources, aligning delivery timelines with strategic objectives.
  • Assumes end-to-end ownership of AI/GenAI product/program delivery within a functional area, including hands-on involvement in technical design reviews, sprint planning, and issue resolution.
  • Provides oversight and technical leadership to development teams, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and deployment of AI/GenAI solutions, and occasionally steps in to manage or guide technical teams as needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience leading digital, data, and AI/GenAI programs globally, with a demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, technically robust solutions.
  • 3+ years' experience in an IT or technical business function, directly leading cross-functional teams or program managers who balance business goals with complex technical requirements.
  • 3+ years' experience in optimizing third-party platforms, including integration with custom-built systems, enabling strategic scaling and extending beyond standard operations.
  • Proven expertise in managing and delivering digital, data, or AI product development, including experience with offshore or distributed technical resource management.
  • Hands-on experience delivering digital, data, and AI projects that drive measurable value across multiple functions and use cases, beyond single functional implementations.
  • Deep understanding of technical architecture frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, data pipelines, and integration principles.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
