Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience plus an excellent benefits package

Location: Swindon

As a Consumer Insights & Data Lead, you’ll ensure we harness the power of internal and external data to really understand the experience of our current and future customers. You'll be part of a dynamic team, collaborating to create and inspire actions based on solid research and insight.

What will you be doing? 

 

  • Customer-Centric Insights: Place the consumer at the heart of our business by delivering actionable insights that support business decision making.
  • Research Champion: Lead both quantitative and qualitative research efforts to amplify the consumer's voice.
  • Data Synthesis: Analyse large data sets, extract key insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Market Analysis: Leverage market trends and comprehensive customer surveys to inform our business.
  • Team Inspiration: Encourage colleagues to develop consumer-centric products and services.
  • Product Development: Support customer immersion sessions and contribute to product and service innovation.
  • Communication: Develop innovative ways to share insights and customer stories across the business.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilise databases, ETL, and visualisation software to manage and analyse information.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide detailed analysis to senior marketing stakeholders and manage relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Leadership: Offer guidance on marketing data requirements and share best practices across the team.

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Industry Experience: Experience in consumer-facing brands, insurance, or financial services.
  • Insight Expertise: Confidence in using various approaches to uncover consumer insights.
  • Educational Background: A degree or higher qualifications in Marketing or a related field, with proven experience in a research or insight-related role preferable.
  • Team Player: Experience in a customer data/insight team, either in-house or consulting.
  • Adaptability: A flexible and cooperative approach to evolving business needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with collaboration and facilitation skills.
