Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Quest Data and Analytics team. This people leader role is a technical one, with the expectation of leading through doing. This includes not only working across departments to ensure the Data and Analytics team’s projects are clearly defined and ready to be worked on, but also participating in the cleaning, analyzing, and reporting of Quest Data to both internal stakeholders and outside clients. The Data team is primarily responsible for analyzing client requirements to build and maintain a call center and direct-to-consumer interview script.

 

Please note this is a Hybrid opportunity.  The position requires two/three days of work on site in our Lenexa, KS offfice.  The other days will be work from home.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on technology leader who oversees processes relating to data collection, cleansing, analyzing, and reporting
  • Ensuring deliverables (e.g., client outcomes reports, operational dashboards, and Quarterly Business Review presentations) are high quality and produced on time
  • Prioritize the team’s backlog
  • Lead scrum meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, refinements, and retros)
  • Present research and outcomes findings that tell a story to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify areas to increase department as well as company efficiency
  • Encourage professional development and growth of reporting team

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or eqivalent experience required
  • Master's degree a plus

Required Work Experience: 

  • 5+ years of industry specific experience plus 2+ years of management experience

Knowledge: 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Google Products, and Outlook

Skills: 

  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects / relationships simultaneously 
  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to distill down complicated data 
  • Ability to work as a team, be coachable, and collaborate with key stakeholders across different functions
  • Proficient with analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SPSS, SQL, Looker, Tableau)
  • Bilingual (English and another language) proficiency is a plus

People Leader Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of 4-8 Data Analysts and Data Analyst Associates
