Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage Python, SQL, and analytics platforms to provide data-backed recommendations that pinpoint product improvement opportunities and inform the product roadmap.

  • Define and evolve KPIs that capture user engagement, product success, and revenue impact; regularly analyze and communicate performance to stakeholders.  

  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses, optimize features, and enhance user experiences.  

  • Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations, collaborating with Product, Engineering, UX/UI, and Marketing teams to drive user-centric improvements.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for real-time product performance monitoring, ensuring timely updates and transparency.

  • Champion a data-driven culture by serving as a liaison across teams, providing training and guidance to enhance overall data literacy.

  • Manage analysis projects & spearhead analytics initiatives end-to-end, communicating timelines, progress, and findings to ensure alignment and drive decisive action.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a product-centric environment. 

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. 

  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytic and Tableau. 

  • Expertise in A/B testing, data modeling, user segmentation, and building comprehensive dashboards/reports. 

  • Ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets and communicate them effectively. 

  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing. 

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or other applicable quantitative discipline

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to varying audiences. 

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana). 

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques or predictive analytics. 

  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments or on consumer-facing digital products.

The base salary range for this position in is $70K-$100K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
