To support this goal, we are hiring a Data Analyst at our Reading office to provide advanced level data analytics support for our leadership team by creating reports, analyzing, and forecasting data to identify organizational efficiencies.
Job Description
- Create tools, dashboards and reports to provide data to assist the Leadership team with running the business.
- Pull data from business systems (Operations, HR, Finance, etc.) and combine them into easy-to-use tools to provide visibility to the team on performance against KPIs.
- Use data to pinpoint root causes and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct internal and external research, collect, and analyze data.
- Assist with creating slides for various presentations.
- Work with the Brenntag Excellence team and data analytics personnel in other geographical regions.
- Opportunity to obtain Green Belt or Black Belt certification if desired (within 2-5 years).
Education and Experience:
- 2-yr or 4-yr degree in data analytics related fields, such as data science, computer science, mathematics, etc.
- Previous experience in business and/or data analytics is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI, Qlik or equivalent highly preferred.
- Problem solving ability focused on stakeholder satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with C-suite level stakeholders.
- Strong ability to manage complexity and change in a dynamic environment.
- Team player, with high work ethic, eager to learn and contribute.
- Works independently, self-motivated individual with attention to detail.
- Proactive with good time management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, writing and presentation skills.
