Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning and data science to develop and implement advanced algorithms and models that drive business solutions and enhance patient care and help our pharmacy colleagues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects that align with our mission to improve health outcomes for our customers.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Retail Strategic Health Analytics team, you will

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning in various applications, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.

• Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to ensure high-quality input for machine learning models, including feature engineering and data transformation.

• Implement and optimize machine learning pipelines, ensuring scalability and performance in production environments.

• Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence and evaluate new tools and technologies for potential adoption.

• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis.

• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into existing systems and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications
Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus.

2+ years experience in ML Ops.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. 

• Master’s degree or PhD preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$111,240.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
