Sanofi’s Digital Manufacturing & Supply “Solution Engineering & Delivery” organization is responsible for creating and maintaining digital solutions which are used on Sanofi industrial sites to manage manufacturing, quality and administrative processes.

The Plant Connectivity team works within this group to define, deploy and support an architecture able to collect, store and contextualize production equipement data. These production equipement data (time series) are then consumed by digital apps aiming to enhance production quality and/or efficiency.

Our capability to capture and expose this times series data is critical

Connecting OT world (Operational Technology) to digital application is challenging due to Cybersecurity requirement, huge volume of data, real time and diversity of the equipment to connect.

Times series data management will be a key area to succeed our “Factory of the Future” journey.

We need to manage Times Series Data in a consistent and robust way from the sensor (at plant level) up to the cloud data platform.

We are looking for a skilled Times Series Data expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise on local historian solution, on IIoT platform and cloud-based Data Platform.

As a Times series Expert, you will be responsible for:

• playing an active role in the definition of our Times Series strategy (from the production equipment up to the data-platform)
• Supporting local Historian projects
• Ensuring a transversal mission across data historian systems and Plant connectivity architecture

Main responsibilities:

• Participate to the future IIoT Platform selection and implementation
• Handle / oversee all technical activities on the Times Series Data Platform (support, lifecycle, documentation, user management, roadmap)
• Interact with the main stakeholders (Cybersecurity, Automation, Digital Quality, Infrastructure, Product owner, Data teams)
• Support local historian projects

About you

Experience & knowledge 

• Deep understanding on Times series management specificities (Storage, Data Visualisation and Contextualization)

• Experience on Cloud-based solution management (ideally Azure)
• Experience on local historian solutions
• Functional knowledge and understanding of plant floor data collection methods and data flow
• Knowledge on Agile methodology
• A previous experience in a big pharma or biologic company is clearly a plus

Technologies and Techniques

• Expertise on Local Historian solution (ideally Aspentech IP21 and/or OSISoft PI)
• Experience on Times series Cloud-based data platform (ideally Microsoft ADX)
• Experience with an IIoT Platform
• MQTT protocol knowledge
• SQL and Python expertise
