As a cyber threat specialist on our team, you will establish the security requirements and assessment procedures to evaluate the client's artificial intelligence (AI) systems. You will help the client drive the requirements to ensure AI is properly developed, tested, and deployed with the necessary safeguards. You’ll monitor the AI assets and identify security gaps through the eyes of an adversary. In this role, you will collaborate with key cybersecurity stakeholders and leadership to enable the client to deploy AI capabilities securely.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience securing and testing AI systems
• Knowledge of how AI training and testing data is tagged and secured
• Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework 800-53 security controls
• Ability to articulate security requirements, draft test procedures, and assess risk of AI models or systems
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience developing machine learning (ML) algorithms or AI systems and deploying into production
• Knowledge of the ML or AI data pipeline and how models are updated
• Ability to present briefings to senior leadership
• Master's degree in CS, Software Development, or IT  
• Security+ or CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
