Senior BI Analyst

Leeds Based

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join an established team within our UKI Business Intelligence function. The role sits within the wider Commercial BI team at Sky Betting and Gaming, which forms a key part of our centralised UK&I Business Intelligence Division.

Reporting to a Lead Analyst under the Senior BI Manager for Sky Bet, you will lead execution of intelligence-led approaches to commercial insight, ensuring insights meet the needs of the organisation’s business goals and align with strategies across SBG.

What you’ll do

• Understand Flutter’s consumers through both internal and external data analysis, enabling partners to understand how findings should influence our strategic approach.
• Help establish innovative analytics products to improve the businesse's understanding of performance against other UKI brands.
• Work with the Commercial and Finance teams on key day-to-day tasks, such as scoping and defining analytics data products.
• You will provide partners with BAU reports, capturing requirements and optimising the reporting cycles.
• Working and collaborating with colleagues across local and UK&I BI teams you will identify standard processes in ways of reporting and working.
• You will support the team and Tribe to help identify key trends, insight, opportunities and performance drivers using large datasets containing a wide range of commercial and customer level data.
• You will surface key findings that are relevant and utilise support available to tell a clear story in a concise and engaging manner.  Regularly presenting your work to groups of partners, providing a clear narrative and set of actionable recommendations.

How you’ll do it:

• Strong technical experience in delivering analytics solutions (ideally using Looker and SQL)
• Skilled at condensing analysis into actionable insights to inform business decisions and influence business performance
• Excellent teammate with strong communication skills who is able to inspire, empathise and work for your team
• Experience working with senior partners, with an ability to clearly and confidently present your findings to all levels within our business
• Ability to build strong and effective relationships both within the Analytics team and across the business at all levels 
• Ability to thrive with pressure and understand the sometimes-urgent business needs with a measured and strategic approach
• You will be self-motivated, and action orientated, able to take a lead and drive action and change where required
• 3+ years of professional experience in similar positions (Commercial and Analytics)
