The Opportunity

• Role Title:  Backend Engineer
• Direct Report: Backend Engineering Director
• Area: Engineering
• Location: Serbia

Incode is seeking Backend Engineer. Our core values revolve around quality, integrity and impact. We want to bring in someone who will help us to grow this company and build our company culture. 
 
You will help us build our main backend infrastructure and API services from the ground up. We place a high premium on communication, good design and clean implementation. Above all other factors, we are looking for smart, driven candidates who want to be part of a culture of innovation and creativity as we revolutionize sharing. 
 
Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin
• Experience with spring framework ecosystem
• Experience with observability tools
• Experience with SQL/No SQL databases
• Experience in designing domain models and web apis
• Quality oriented approach to software development
• Experience with AWS

Nice to have:

• Experience with ML centric systems

Responsibilities: 

• Work with a team of backend and DevOps engineers
• Write high quality code with test coverage
• Participate in code reviews
• Participate in full cycle development: from model and api design to support in production.
