What you’ll do

You will be part of the team responsible for developing software tools and frameworks that support the firm’s Treasury department in their reporting efforts. Specifically, you will:

• Develop an advanced analytical library in Python and popular open-source frameworks (i.e. pandas, Polars, PyTorch, numpy, Hydra, Streamlit/Dash and others)
• Use AWS, Apache Airflow and Databricks to build ETL workflows, frequently in collaboration with other teams
• Create robust APIs to expose data to internal clients and services responsible for data visualization
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to craft the most optimal infrastructure solutions and adjust CI/CD to our team’s needs

What’s required

• 4+ years of experience working as a software developer or data engineer, or in a similar role
• Excellent Python and software craftsmanship skills and familiarity with most of the Python packages listed above
• Knowledge of best practices of asynchronous programming
• Experience with any Python web framework (preferably FastAPI) as well as AsyncIO
• Familiarity with AWS
• Familiarity with technologies for big data processing and storage
• Good knowledge of SQL
