Data Scientist | About You

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to extract actionable insights that inform critical business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and areas for operational improvement. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to identify key problem areas and build effective models to address real-world challenges. You’ll leverage your expertise in data manipulation and visualization to automate reporting processes, ensuring data is both accessible and actionable. Comfortable with ambiguity, you proactively uncover insights and drive continuous improvements. Your ability to communicate technical findings clearly and collaborate effectively will help transform data into impactful business solutions.

Data Scientist | Day-to-Day

  • Analyze ServiceNow ticket data (stored in AWS S3) to identify high-ticket volumes and recurring issues.
  • Use statistical methods and machine learning models to categorize tickets and determine the root causes of frequent issues (e.g., system access, password resets).
  • Identify trends and patterns in ticket data to help prioritize IT support needs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Work with a data visualization specialist to present insights through Power BI and automate reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and provide recommendations for addressing recurring issues to improve IT efficiency.
  • Continuously improve data analysis processes to ensure ongoing operational optimization.

Data Scientist | Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role, preferably within healthcare or IT industries.
  • Expertise in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis, automation, and model development.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and cloud-based storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3).
  • Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving actionable insights.
  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, with the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
