DID Specialist - Process Intelligence and Internal Control

We are looking for a Specialist Process Intelligence to join our Innovation Team within Data & Intelligence Delivery, working in a dynamic, international, and multicultural environment. In this role, you will engage in applied cutting-edge research, engineering, and product deliveries at the intersection of financial audit and process intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Research

• Contribute top-notch applied research on auditing and internal control using object-centric process mining using event knowledge graphs.
• Improve the user journey by translating research insights into practical and tangible solutions.

Engineering

• Develop front-end and back-end solutions (E2E) for an integrated process intelligence and internal control platform that blends process mining with traditional BI and GRC.
• Design and implement solutions on cloud architecture using Microsoft Azure that balances quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Delivery

• Provide process intelligence and internal control analytics for E2E business processes like purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash to compliment expert teams with data-driven techniques.
• Apply a problem-solving approach to overcome technical and operational challenges, interacting with assurance teams and clients across Switzerland and globally.
• Conduct business validation and quality assurance on deliverables to ensure high standards are met.

To Qualify for the Role

• Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a relevant role
• Technical Expertise
  • Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience implementing process mining solutions using leading platforms such as UiPath Process Mining, Celonis, ProM, and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end automation of process mining solution development, from data extraction and transformation to insights generation through workflow developments.
  • Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or other similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in data engineering for larger datasets with hands-on experience in a variety of tools and technologies (e.g., Microsoft SQL, DuckDB, ClickHouse, Azure Databricks, Python, R).
  • Experience in ensuring data reliability through robust quality assurance processes, validation techniques, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, demonstrated by completing essential Azure certifications and practical expertise in (Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, SQL Managed Instance, Blob Storage, Virtual Machines).
  • Proven ability to set up cloud infrastructure, configure SAML certificates, and deploy JavaScript-based web applications.
  • Experience collaborating with InfoSec teams, providing guidance during security reviews, and ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP data models and entity relationships, especially in FI, MM, and SD modules.
• Business & Audit Skills
  • Essential understanding of purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal control and auditing best practices or standards (COSO, CoBIT, ISO, ISA, IFRS)
• Soft Skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and German

Location

The work location can be either Zurich or Berne. This position is hybrid, offering the best of both remote and on-site collaboration.
