We are looking for a challenge seeker with a passion for data to help us evolve our Data Governance program. The Data Governance Analyst I will support Enterprise Data Management programs throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a solid business acumen and the ability to evaluate processes and drive improvements. Primary responsibilities:
- Support development of data governance framework and enterprise data governance policies, processes, standards and roles across the company
- Improve data capture processes to enhance data quality and decision-making
- Contribute to F5’s Data Governance Policies & Procedures and share with the company to ensure best practices are followed
- Works with the business units to ensure data ownership and quality, and with F5’s Chief Privacy Officer’s team to ensure data privacy
- Champion organizational behavior change as it relates to the use of data; realizing vision of data managed as an asset
- Develop and maintain data governance policies, guidelines, standards, procedures, and communications in collaboration with data stewards and development teams.
- Assist data stewards with the creation, documentation, and adherence of data governance standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance of data governance standards.
- Participate in process mapping for data decision rights, and the development of business policies and practices for managing data.
- Build partnerships with business stakeholders to anticipate opportunities for data governance activities and projects.
- Assist with the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise.
- Maintain data governance processes and controls by working with project and business leaders to analyze the impact of future changes on critical data sources and mitigate any potential risks to data quality and data privacy.
- Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.

- Understanding of operational processes, data, systems landscape
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with program leadership, subject matter experts and key stakeholders.

- Professional working knowledge with data management in the technology industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/economics/finance, Math/Statistics, MIS, or other computational field of study (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in a Data Governance, Data Management or data centric role.

The annual base pay for this position is: $68,124.00 - $102,186.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
