NCAPS is at the forefront of developing an Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), a cutting-edge solution designed to revolutionize how NASA data scientists and other stakeholders collaborate, share insights, and expedite their work with data. The Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst with a specialty in visualization, you will be responsible for creating insightful and interactive data visualizations that facilitate understanding and decision-making across the organization. Your expertise in tools like Power BI and Tableau, combined with strong SQL skills, will be essential in delivering high-quality visual analytics. Familiarity with Python, Databricks, and AWS is advantageous and will support your ability to manage and analyze data effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Gathers analytical requirements working with subject management experts.

• Develops data frameworks for data analysis to support end-user data discovery. 
• Designs and develops data models that optimize analytical reporting performance. 
• Develops data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading processes between transactional and analytical systems. 
• Builds reports, dashboards, and OLAP databases to support end-user reporting and information requirements. 
• Performs statistical analyses on data and predictive forecasting. Analyzes and interprets results using statistical techniques. Interpret trends or patterns in complex and data sets.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years relevant experience

Proficiency in the following:

• Power BI and Tableau for data visualization; strong command of SQL for data querying and manipulation.

Desired: 

• Familiarity with Python for data analysis
• Experience with Databricks and AWS

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
