At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. As BI Developer you will be working as part of a global team responsible for creating and maintaining full end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions.

What you’ll do at Elekta  

This role requires working closely with business functions worldwide at Elekta to gather their needs and transform them into actionable BI solutions that you implement. This covers all aspects of the development life-cycle, including requirements analysis, development and testing of the solutions.

Elekta’s BI team uses Microsoft SQL Server (including SSIS and SSRS), Qlik solutions (Qlik Sense, Qlik Cloud, Qlik nPrinting, QlikView), Workday Adaptive Planning and web technologies.

Your role will include (but not limited to):

• Support of Elekta’s’ existing BI solutions including training the end users and resolving issues that are raised across the BI environment and it’s published solutions
• Play an essential role in maintaining good and open communication with business stakeholders
• Operational support of the BI Environment
• Responsible for structured, clear data definitions and design documentation
• Responsible for adherence to Elekta’s process for requesting new/modifications to BI solutions
• Assist in maintaining the content of the solutions catalogue and data libraries
• Identify the need for user training and updated knowledge articles

What you’ll bring 

• Good knowledge of Qlik solutions (Sense, SaaS, nPrinting, QVDs) or similar reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• Good knowledge of Data Warehousing (using e.g. MS SQL Server), Data Modelling and ETL process development & deployment (MS SQL Server Integration Services, Boomi etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL and database querying (TSQL, SOQL etc.)
• Good knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning solution (Desirable)
• General knowledge of business system domains, including ERP (e.g. M3, SAP), CRM (e.g. Salesforce), ELM (e.g. Workday)
• Ability to gather requirements and to help business requesters to define their reporting needs
• Bachelors in Information Technology or other relevant degree (Desirable)
• Fluent in spoken and written English
