Job Summary

We are excited to announce that we have an opportunity for an intern to join the Medical Device Division this summer 2025.

*U.S. work authorization required: Fresenius Kabi will not sponsor work visas or other employment authorization.
*Pay rate is $20.50-23.00 per hour, depending on completed academic years
*Fresenius Kabi does not provide a housing stipend or relocation assistance for summer internships
*This position requires working onsite 3+ days per week.

Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation, test, and maintenance of new and existing data management products. 
  • Operates within defined processes and procedures consistent with a regulated environment.
  • Collaborates with senior staff to identify solutions for, and resolve issues with, product software.
  • Creates automated tests to formally verify software components satisfy their requirements and designs.
  • Makes detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.
  • Generates clear and detailed documentation.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Minimum two years of undergraduate classwork in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member. 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with the software development life-cycle and software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Object Orientated Programming is required.
  • Experience with JavaScript is required.
  • Experience with SQL is required.
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming is desired.
  • Experience developing for Windows preferred.
  • Experience with networking, Active Directory, and Powershell is desired.
  • The following is the list of the technologies you will be exposed to, previous experience with these is preferred, but not required:
    • Microsoft Visual Studio C#, Microsoft .NET Framework
    • Entity Framework
    • jQuery
    • ASP.NET MVC and WPF
    • HTTP, SOAP, and REST protocols
    • XML / JSON
    • Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Experience with creating, executing, and reporting on testcases derived from system requirements is desired.
  • Knowledge in test automation process, tools, and methodologies is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in source control management and configuration and integrated development environments. Experience with Git preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; the Company will not sponsor work visas or other employment authorization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must commit to working 8-12 weeks this summer.
  • Minimum two years of undergraduate classwork in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Must be planning to return to school at the end of the internship.
  • U.S. work authorization required: Fresenius Kabi will not sponsor work visas or other employment authorization.
