Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Assist Gov-wide Acquisition Services Division with the development and execution of program strategies that support and advance the maturity and adoption of category management (CM) government-wide.
• The contractor shall employ a collaborative and iterative methodology for developing deliverables and problem-solving to support the customer’s goal of achieving a consistent and comprehensive government-wide CM strategy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with government-wide data systems to extract, cleanse and analyze government spend data, specifically as it relates to category management;
• Experience using SQL, mySQL, Oracle, postgreSQL, Python, PySpark, R, Tableau to extract, cleanse, analyze and visualize spend data for government-wide category management use
• Specializes in cloud-based IT projects, oversight of infrastructure, application support, risk management, and security auditing
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with GSA and OMB category management executives;
• Experience analyzing government-wide spend data and developing associated dashboards or executive briefings to inform decision-making related to government-wide category management.

Pay Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
