Data Quality Lead

Job Description:
Morgan Advanced Materials are looking for an experienced Data Quality Manager, reporting to the Master Data Management Director to Measure, Analyse and guide their US based Manufacturing Operations to cleanse their Master Data in preparation for a Global ERP rollout programme. The candidate is required to be a US citizen to extract and review the raw data.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
· Train and guide the business to understand the Importance of the Morgan Data Quality Standard and cleanse accordingly to show progress and report back to the business on ERP Implementation readiness.
· Lead Data Quality Initiatives: Implement tools and processes to enhance visibility into data issues across various systems. Proactively identify and address data quality issues to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
· Manage Data Quality Processes: Develop and maintain robust data quality frameworks and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for data management and governance.
· Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements, address concerns, and prioritize initiatives. Build strong relationships with business partners to ensure alignment between data initiatives and organizational goals.
· Monitor Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of data quality and operational processes. Regularly analyse performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
Essential:
· Understanding of both Process and Discrete Manufacturing Methods
· Data Analytical, Presenting & Business Reporting Skills
Advantage:
· Proficiency in data management technologies such as data lakes, SQL databases and data warehouses and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power Bi & Alteryx or similar.
· Knowledge of ERP systems such as D365 F&SCM, IFS, BPCS, JDE 9.1, SAP & Syteline would help but not essential.
