We are assisting a portfolio company to build their engineering team. This is a high impact opportunity to be part of an early stage AI company building the brain behind the chemical industry. Chemistry touches nearly every aspect of our lives and the problem we're trying to solve has significant scope and magnitude and will directly affect people's lives for the better if we're successful. They are doing something that has never been done before - operating at a unique intersection of the physical and digital world.

We are a fast growing VC-backed start-up bringing AI into the $5T chemical industry. We’re a unique team of engineers and scientists who are all motivated by a common mission to change how chemists work everyday. Despite being an early-stage startup, we have impressive traction and early signs of product market fit. We’re moving fast and have recently secured funding from investors, operators and angels that have backed the likes of Canva, Attlassian, Figma, Zoox and Robinhood.
What you'll do:
We’re looking for a Mid-level to Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help us develop solutions and oversee and guide the development of our client applications from both front-end and back-end perspectives. You will work directly with the founders and a team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality products quickly.
- Push the quality and excellence bar by advocating for and practicing engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, code quality, security, and monitoring.
- Understand business requirements and break them down into manageable tasks.
- Establish timelines, allocate resources, and oversee the progress of our client application.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
- Previous involvement in building and commercialising enterprise software.
- Required Stack: NodeJS, Typescript, NestJS, NextJS, React, PostgreSQL
- (Bonus) Experience with .Net framework
- (Bonus) Experience in implementing CI/CD (Rancher/OpenShift/Kubernetes)
- (Bonus) Experience with AWS
- (Bonus) Experience with Python and machine learning
