Lab Data Analyst

Job Overview
Provide comprehensive clinical lab data expertise as part of a team to develop and maintain Laboratory Data Management (LDM) tasks for the studies awarded to IQVIA Laboratories (previously Q squared solutions) and meets the external client data reporting needs. May be required to support the development of new systems and processes related to the electronic data transfer process, or the configuration of business rules and master data in study and laboratory information systems.  Understand and comply with core standard operating procedures and working instructions.

Essential Functions
Data Imports Data Integration specific requirements-
Candidate Should be able to understand the work flow of central, Third Party Lab Data.
Candidate Should be able to understand and gradually create standard Data Import agreements for assigned trials.
Candidate Should learn to execute pre-existing SAS programs that are required to perform the job.
Candidate Should be able to understand if there are any errors generated while executing programs.
Candidate Should be able to co-ordinate with different departments and labs to resolve the issues or queries identified during data import.
Document completion status in work management tool.
Candidate Should be able to effectively communicate to Clients,
co-ordinate with client to understand the requirements & prepare Data Import agreement for complex trials,
Attend calls with labs & sponsors to discuss issues/concern and offer resolution and support,
 be able to provide process improvement ideas, suggestions and contribute for execution,
 be able to train & mentor new team members,
 be able to draft clear, concise & good quality of requirement document for programing, in a manner that is well understood by programmer,
be able to perform testing to ensure developed programs are as per the requirements,
Share knowledge and lessons learnt with the team.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Basic SAS/ SQL programming will be added advantage

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Life Sciences or 
Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist degree with clinical laboratory experience 
OR Computer Science with Software Configuration and Validation experience Req
• 2-3 years of experience in Data Management, Requires basic knowledge of  Data Management procedures obtained through prior work experience or education. Equivalent combination of education, training, computing qualification and experience.

• Good customer-focus perspective with skill to guide customer communications and customer management. Good attention to detail to anticipate, address and/or escalate issues, with aptitude to embrace and be conduit for change. Good project and task management capabilities and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Effective problem solving skills, Logical thinking as well as ability to proactively identifying process improvements which reduce operational costs and maintain quality. Quality conscious with high degree of ethics and integrity carrying out duties in accordance to laws, regulatory standards, and with company policies and procedures. Proficiency in Windows operating systems (user-level skills), Microsoft Office applications. Good understanding of medical, clinical research, and Lab Data Management process and terminology. Working knowledge on various regulatory requirements such as FDA, ICH, ISO HL7, and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
