Job Description Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT operations manager to run our Enterprise Asset Management Data Integration Team. This role requires a strong knowledge of enterprise IT ecosystems, data center infrastructure, and data governance practices, as well as qualitative and quantitative analytical skills needed to develop and maintain a comprehensive IT asset management database.

In this role, you will facilitate the adoption of a single system of record for all IT asset data in alignment with enterprise business objectives. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to bring together a single-pane-of-glass view of our IT ecosystem. This highly collaborative position will involve developing close working partnerships with engineering, architecture, risk management, and product teams.

Your day-to-day:

  • Identify and catalog asset management data source systems.

  • Coordinate the build and maintenance of data integration platforms and pipelines to regularly and reliably ingest, enrich, correlate, and transmit data from source systems.

  • Build, maintain, and report on the asset management data integration project roadmap.

  • Document standards for data flow into the Asset Management Inventory to ensure completeness and validate the accuracy of incoming data.

  • Work with asset owners to remediate data conflicts and duplication.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve gaps in source data.

  • Establish trusted working relationships with partners across engineering, architecture, risk management, and product teams.


What do you need to bring:

  • Background in enterprise architecture and technology infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of IT asset management principles and best practices.

  • Experience with at least one enterprise CMDB solution, preferably ServiceNow.

  • Demonstratable history of delivering large projects involving cross-functional teams.

  • Strong work ethic with proven ability to learn quickly, prioritize work, and manage complex deliverables to completion under established deadlines.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and analysis skills, including experience developing high-quality written analysis, strategy, or standard procedures.

  • Ability to approach and understand problems from a quantitative perspective to draw meaningful conclusions, as well as scrutinize models and inferences for misleading or overlooked considerations.

  • 3+ years experience in IT asset management, or IT project management within the infrastructure space.


Additional consideration is given if you have:

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform interaction.

  • Familiarity with tagging strategies of cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience with an IP discovery.

  • Server (Windows/*nix) administration skills.

  • ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript/groovy) and API skills.

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, such as cybersecurity, business, information systems, or computer science.

LOCATION NOTICE- This positions is hybrid 3 days a week in San Jose, CA or Scottsdale, AZ. We are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$84500 to $204600
