The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA office in the Post Market Surveillance/Product Quality division at Abbott Diabetes Care.

What You’ll Work On

  • Contributes to data collection and cleansing efforts.
  • Utilize technologies to collect, clean, analyze, predict, and effectively communicate information.
  • Writes queries to build analytic data sets for both exploration and modeling.
  • Translates business needs to analytical/technical requirements and provides input to data gathering, able to apply basic statistical methodology to data and tools development or solutions.
  • Receives specific direction. Adapts to changing priorities as they arise.
  • Completes own work details and assignments of low complexity.
  • Collaborate for results and participate in idea sharing and solution development.
  • Exchanges information. May work with IT to identify solutions.  Translates basic user requirements into output reports and metrics.
  • Works well with others in a collaborative, goal-driven environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with 0-2 yrs of experience in data science.
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated capabilities with the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI)
  • Ability to query and refine data into aggregated results.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Machine Learning, PowerAutomate, Azure, RedShift, DataBricks

The base pay for this position is

$72,100.00 – $114,700.00
