Design, implement, and manage large scale data solutions and transform them into insights, analysis, and reporting. Apply expertise in data design and implementation tools, including entity-relationship data modeling and SQL, distributed computing and cloud architectures, operating systems, storage technologies, and memory management and networking for creating structure and value out of complex and ambiguous technical challenges with little guidance. Leverage expertise in structured and unstructured data modeling, streaming and batch data processing, extract, transform, and load (ETL), data wrangling, data ingest, and data access of cloud asset and security data. Contribute to the development of standards and best practices and provide technical oversight, review, and quality control of data artifacts. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, and data mining
- 3+ years of experience performing data correlation and working with Logical Data Modeling
- 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, configuring, and operating data aggregation solutions such as Splunk, Elastic Stack, and Kibana
- 2+ years of experience leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations
- Experience with cloud security and posture management solutions such as Prisma Cloud, and cloud platforms, including AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP
- Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, and frameworks, and federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
- Knowledge of big data technologies, data governance and security best practices, data management tools, and data quality measurement techniques
- Ability to work with senior leaders and executives to foster positive client relationships, while handling multiple assignments and keeping track of long-running, complex, and multi-staged tasks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with data modeling techniques, ETL and ELT processes, and scripting languages, including Python
- Experience architecting, designing, and implementing cybersecurity systems, solutions, and tools in federal organizations
- Experience using Cloud services, including IAAS, PAAS, or SAAS, and integration with non-Cloud environments
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- CISSP, Security+, RedHat, or Splunk Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
