The Senior Business Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues and stakeholders. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the overall strategic vision for EDO’s financial and non-financial risk appetite statements, assessments, metric management and top risk alignment framework, policy, and procedures, as an enterprise software both as a part of and beyond the Enterprise Data and Technology environment
  • Coordinate with business leads and senior pillar business leads to define requirements and drive adoption in a uniform manner
  • Meet with upper management and liaisons to define requirements and enhancements for CRO Dashboards and Attestation sign offs
  • Lead cross-cutting meetings with key stakeholders, outlining takeaways and action items with appropriate follow-up
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Enterprise products, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, while defining and tracking key delivery milestones, identifying and mitigating risks that could impact delivery
  • Facilitate agile frameworks such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to understand feedback and potential blockers to product adoption while assisting in post-release support efforts ensuring that issues are prioritized and resolved timely
  • Developing individual project artifacts as necessary including requirements, test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries.
  • Ability to baseline an existing enterprise software and develop a strategic vision for future quarters as well as a long term BAU steady state
  • Day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, co-ordination and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members
  • Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
  • Has the ability to operate independently on a day-to-day basis, using sound judgement to escalate as needed
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities geared at helping manage a global organization with resources and providing data & analytics solutions to all regions and lines of businesses. This includes building ties with other business teams. The individual will be a direct report to the Global Consumer Services Head of Data & Analytics while working closely with the senior Decision Management leadership in their planning, definition and execution of organizational strategy.
  • The Business Lead Analyst will ensure that data is summarized from across the business to provide critical information to executive team
  • Partner directly with various players across decision management groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan
  • Formulate and shepherd cross-franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion
  • Help to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization
  • Establish best practices and principles for the decision management organization globally
  • Program/Project Management - Help provide oversight of the Business-Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process
  • Communication - Work with the team and respective Decision Management leaders on the communication strategy (e.g. town halls, new hire events) for the department and facilitate the development of communication materials and presentations for senior management, including C-level management, the Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other key stakeholders as required
