Postdoctoral Researcher

The Department of Computer Science at SLU seeks a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to research in edge computing and AI-powered medical imaging.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.

• Experience in medical image analysis (preferred).

• Expertise in edge computing and resource-constrained environments is a plus.

• Excellent programming skills in Python.

• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent research and contribute to ongoing projects.

• Develop and implement novel algorithms for medical image analysis.

• Collaborate with researchers in medicine, engineering, and computer science.

• Publish and present research findings in high-impact venues.
