Role Review

We are looking to hire data analysts help migrate ETLs written in SAS processes onto the GCP cloud platform. You must be experienced at using SAS and have some prior working experience at using cloud technologies, and will be involved in reading & summarizing SAS code, configuring the solution onto the relevant cloud applications, assist in testing, documentation and obtaining signoffs for successful migration of SAS ETLs

Key Responsibilities

• Determine and define the technical migration solution for the required in-scope ETLs
• Migrate the ETLs from current-state programs onto the appropriate modules in the GCP platform
• Assist teams with processing the data migration of dependent datasets as required for production run
• Test the accuracy & completeness of the migrated ETL
• Create or update existing SOPs or associated documentation wherever necessary
• Acquire the relevant approvals for signoff

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• SAS coding experience – in either Base SAS or SAS Enterprise Guide
• Python coding experience
• SQL coding, development expertise
• Experience working in cloud environments e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure, AliCloud, particularly for data processing activities
• Data processing and process development, particularly in terms of creating or migrating data processes
• Documentation experience, especially at writing or enhancing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), data dictionaries
• Basic testing/QA experience
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that communications are timely and effective, and issues are raised, reviewed & remediated in a clear, systematic way
