Data Scientist

As part of Keyrus’ solution delivery, we are also in a position to recruit and place technical consultants to complement on existing client projects with their expertise. As such, we seek innovative and agile people to support ambitious and forthcoming technological challenges.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Python, a strong analytical mindset, and experience working in large multinational corporations (MNCs). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with the ability to derive insights that drive business decisions. Strong English and Japanese language skills are essential to collaborate effectively with global and local teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy data science models to solve business problems.
• Utilize Python for data processing, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Work with large datasets to extract insights and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographies.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly in both English and Japanese.
• Build and optimize predictive models and AI-driven solutions.
• Work with SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data tools.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance compliance.

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc.).
• Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or time series forecasting.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and AI/ML Ops tools.
• Industry experience in FMCG or manufacturing is a plus.
