What you'll do:  

  • Implement highly efficient deep learning models and algorithms optimized for NVIDIA GPUs 
  • Leverage data parallelism, CUDA programming, and C++ expertise to optimize on-vehicle performance of various ML and perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles 
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers and domain experts across multiple disciplines to guide development of highly performant algorithms 
  • Analyze and optimize algorithm workloads using profiling and optimization tools, identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks 
  • Document your work clearly and concisely, sharing knowledge effectively with team members 

What you’ll need to Succeed:  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience or a master's degree 
  • Proficiency in modern C++ (14 or more recent) with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code for both performance and flexibility 
  • Experience optimizing ML or software algorithms in C++ for on-chip performance 
  • Familiarity with Python, CUDA, parallel computing, and high-performance software concepts 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills  

 
Bonus points!  

  • Experience with autonomous vehicle systems 
  • Experience working on safety critical systems  
  • Experience with NVIDIA libraries and frameworks 
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Tensor RT, PyTorch, or ONNX
