Job Description
You will be part of a very dynamic and fast-growing Analytics team in Italy and you will develop analytical solutions to the benefit of our clients' and their customers.
The role holder must have experience (4-5 years at least) in the development of analytical projects in the field of credit risk management, anti-fraud modelling or Marketing. Experience in regulatory-driven analytics (AIRB, IFRS9) or experience in development of machine learning models (especially applied to credit and fraud risk management) will be a major plus.
Consultancy and Analytics
- Manage a team of analytical resources (Consultants Jr. Consultants, Analysts) in the development analytical solutions for different clients, specially in the financial sector – this includes the development of statistical models and ad hoc data analysis
- Understand the project's requirements and for communicating them to more junior staff
- Ensure that project deliverables are accurate and meet project scope and goals
- Question results through applied intelligence in a proactive way and interpret them into conclusions and recommendations to clients
- Present the project results to clients or to more senior members of Experian
Pre-sales and Sales support
- Participate in pre-sales and sales meetings with clients and prospects to describe and position Experian's analytics projects and propositions and to adapt it to our client's needs
Project Management
- Plan, organize and complete project work to meet team commitments within agreed timescales
Qualifications
- Degree in quantitative subjects (e.g. mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or physics)
- Technical and analytical skills
- Good experience designing and implementing credit risk models
- Knowledge of statistics and how statistical methodologies are employed in model development
- Good knowledge one or more of other major statistical packages (e.g. Python, SAS, WPS, SPSS, or R)
- Established track record (at least four years) of delivering complex analytical projects
- Fluent in English – both written and spoken with working proficiency
