About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Analyst to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing customer data and identifying key insights to drive engagement, retention, and growth throughout the customer lifecycle. You will support the development of personalized marketing strategies, optimize customer touchpoints, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns to ensure continued business success.

What You'll Do:

  • Analyze Customer Journeys: Conduct in-depth analyses of the customer lifecycle to identify patterns, behaviors, and opportunities for improvement across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention phases.
  • Campaign Performance Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing campaigns across various channels (email, in-app, web, etc.) to optimize for key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Customer Segmentation: Develop and refine customer segments based on behaviors, demographics, and engagement levels to deliver personalized marketing messages.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests to assess the effectiveness of different marketing strategies, messaging, and content. Present findings and recommend actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze large datasets using tools like SQL, Excel, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) to uncover actionable insights that inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, data science) to gather insights and align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
  • Customer Retention Strategies: Help develop and implement retention analytics to monitor lifecycle programs and show business impact of lifecycle campaigns aimed at increasing customer lifetime value (CLV) and reducing churn.
  • Marketing Automation & Personalization: Assist in the development of automated workflows and personalized marketing strategies that improve customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in lifecycle marketing and customer retention to bring fresh ideas to the team.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing analysis, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data storage & analysis tools such as BigQuery,  Excel, SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms like Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and data-driven marketing techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and make recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or R for advanced data analysis.
  • Familiarity with customer retention and churn analysis models.

Understanding of lifecycle marketing frameworks and customer journey mapping.

Base Compensation Range*:  $77,000 - $145,000

Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

*For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
