Data scientist - Data Scientist (Strong Python + ML some experience + Good Comms) Data Scientist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Python, experience with machine learning techniques, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover insights and trends. Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering). Build and deploy data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Contribute to the development and improvement of our data science infrastructure. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Python with experience in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow/PyTorch. Experience with machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, neural networks). Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies. Excellent data visualization and presentation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Master's degree in a relevant field.
