PowerBI Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Power BI and Power BI Service, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or any cloud-based ETL tool is highly desirable. This role involves designing, developing, and managing interactive dashboards and reports while ensuring data accuracy and seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
   
2. Manage and optimize Power BI Service for report sharing, scheduling, and collaboration.
   
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
   
4. Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure consistency and quality in reporting.
   
5. Utilize knowledge of Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools to streamline data workflows and processes (preferred).
   
6. Monitor report performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
   
7. Ensure adherence to data security and governance policies.
   
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, datasets, and services.
   

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience:
   • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and Power BI Service.
     
2. Technical Expertise:
   • Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
     
   • Strong knowledge of Power BI Service features such as dataflows, sharing, and collaboration.
     
   • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based ETL tools is a strong plus.
     
   • Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
     
3. Data Visualization:
   • Ability to create user-friendly visualizations that convey meaningful insights.
     
4. Problem-Solving Skills:
   • Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for Power BI solutions.
     
5. Communication Skills:
   • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
     
6. Preferred Skills:
   • Experience with DAX and M language for advanced data modeling and calculations.
     
   • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
     

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
