Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a talented AI Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our AI-driven document management solution for scientific and research documents. This is great ground floor AI opportunity and in this role you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that enhance the management and dissemination of scientific and research documents, as well as other product offerings. You will work closely with a team of experts to create innovative features, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Design and implement AI algorithms and models using Azure AI, Azure AI Document Intelligence, and other tools for document ingestion, metadata extraction, and document assessments.
  • Develop and train machine learning models to automate document processing and improve workflow accuracy and exception handling.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components with existing systems and conduct thorough testing to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, optimize algorithms, and enhance AI capabilities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including technical leads, project managers, and customer staff, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for AI models, algorithms, and software components. 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an AI Developer or similar role, with a focus on machine learning and AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as .Net, Python, and Javascript.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
  • Experience with Azure AI tools or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex challenges with data, logic, or otherwise and develop effective and efficient solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
