Position Title: Data Management Officer

Job Summary:

The Data Management Officer is primarily responsible in utilizing varying data analytics frameworks and data management solutions to deliver actionable insights and support revenue growth, operational cost reduction, efficiency improvement, risk reduction and improve customer experience/ delight.

He/ she will act as data engineers to the Branch Banking Sector and work with other data teams to understand business needs, manage data across various sources and convert them to useful information that can be leveraged for business opportunities. He/ she will also support the BBS team efficiency and organizational intelligence by spearheading data building initiatives thru report automation and data management improvement initiatives.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities: 

Report Automation& Data Management

• Lead report automation within the division
• Coordinate with various units of the bank for the incorporation of relevant information needed for the CRM build-up.
• Facilitate generation and distribution of the CRM report, summary, and annexes to authorized users.
• Ensure alignment of business definition and business defined data mapping in databases
• Systemically transform raw data received from other data teams to plan, create and maintain data sets aligned with internal requirements and ensure accurate data interpretation.
• Prepare raw data for analytical initiatives e,g, detect and correct customer/ branch tagging errors as preparation for business/customer analysis and insighting
• Lead data quality and reliability initiatives within the division
• Ensures the effective and efficient generation, distribution and monitoring of leads.

Service Delivery Management

• Design and execute data analytics and/or data management initiatives and ensure they are delivered based on business need, agreed specification and timeline to support business decisions and strategy development with high quality and accuracy
• Support the creation of analytical best practices through guidance and training of BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, SQL)

Collaboration

• Collaborate with data analytics, data warehouse, and other units within the organization to address business needs
• Ensuring business requirements are met during data extraction in coordination with Datawarehouse teams

Operational Excellence

• Creates and refines data dictionary and data source/ database management guidelines to standardize data reference across the unit
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
