Your position

Are you passionate about using data to create value? Would you like to contribute to reshaping how RHI Magnesita operates? As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play an important role in the Complexity Reduction (CoRe) team, working collaboratively to turn business needs into effective, data-driven solutions. You will also contribute to redesigning our portfolio management tools (in partnership with the Portfolio to Value process team) to ensure our product portfolio remains healthy, balanced, and profitable. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to ensure business needs and technical solutions align effectively. You will take initiative to identify areas for improvement, explore creative solutions, and contribute to achieving the desired results. You will report directly to the Head of Portfolio Complexity and be part of one of the company’s most impactful projects, BIG6 (CoRe).

 

Your tasks

  • Understand the product data landscape within RHI Magnesita, including key data points, storage locations, management processes, and their connection to real-world operations
  • Design, build, publish, and maintain analyses and reports to support business insights using available data
  • Assess the product portfolio and analyze business data to define meaningful KPIs and success factors for decision-making
  • Collaborate with Business, Software Development, and Data Science teams to create, develop, and implement portfolio management tools or analytical models
  • Explore and recommend new technologies (e.g., chatbots, LLMs, apps) to improve the usability and analysis of available information

 

Your profile

  • You are proficient in O365 and Power BI for data management, with experience in the MSFT Power Platform suite being a plus
  • Knowledge of VB.net and DAX, and familiarity with SQL will be considered an advantage
  • Higher education in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a related field
  • Basic financial understanding (e.g.: read and understand a P&L)

 

Languages: English – Fluent, Portuguese and/or German would be a plus

Nice to have:

  • An MBA would be ideal
  • Experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, or Product Lifecycle Management is highly valuable
  • Background in designing and implementing data-informed solutions
  • Familiarity with integrating and using LLMs (Large Language Models) in corporate processes
  • Experience in an industrial environment

 

Our offer

The annual gross salary for this full-time position starts at €75,000.00, with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.
