The Manager, Data Platform Change Management will support the capture of requirements to drive the implementation of modern Data Platform Management features. The role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of data analysis. The role requires working closely with our data team and assisting in various projects to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Perform exploratory data analysis on data platform telemetry to identify trends, patterns, and outliers
• Contribute to the development of data visualizations and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources to extract meaningful insights
• Support requirements gathering from key stakeholders/end users and effectively document the requirements for Data Platform Management feature delivery
• Assist requirements analysis in addressing process automation and improvement objectives outlined by stakeholders, and collaborate with development team for design and solution feedback
• Ensure Data Platform Management features are implemented correctly by working closely with development/testing teams
• Work in an Agile mindset to accelerate delivery of data platform product capabilities
• Provide demonstrations of product features to stakeholder groups in sprint reviews
• Provide support to end user onboarding, and inquiries on data platform management features
• Establish and evolve end user documentation; collaborate with fellow team members to maintain documentation

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

• Completed or pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong communication skills (i.e., spoken/written/presentation) to engage wide array of users to elicit requirements and feedback
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL
• Familiarity with data visualization tool such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Self-motivated to solve problems and able to work collaboratively with other team members. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong process documentation and optimization skills to articulate workflow requirements

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of agile project methodology and artifacts, on software/application development lifecycle in an agile fashion
• Understanding of Data Platforms (Data Lake and Data Warehouse)
• Experience with the analytics & data project life cycle (e.g. ETL).
• Experience with Collibra and data management principles
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Cloudera/Hortonworks, Cassandra, Spark, other)
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) would be an asset.
• Productivity/Project collaboration tools experience: Confluence, Jira, Sharepoint
