SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our growing team. This mid-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in data science, statistics, and machine learning, eager to take on complex business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, build advanced predictive models, and provide actionable insights that drive business strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and insights.
  • Use Generative AI and/or develop and optimize statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Evaluate model accuracy, precision, recall, confusion matrix, and other performance metrics.
  • Design and implement scalable data-driven solutions to improve processes and performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and data engineers to deploy and monitor models in production.
  • Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, probability, and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience in machine learning frameworks such as Pandas and Scikit-learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

IDEAL EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • B.S. or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role's responsibilities.  The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year, with bonus eligibility.
