Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Data Analyst (all genders) to join the Data Visualization team on our journey to provide BI data solutions to support developers and business users in accessing, comprehending, and reporting data seamlessly.

The Global Data Platform team focuses on complex, international, multi-domain problems affecting the core of Delivery Hero’s business and operations across the globe. The impact here drives millions of euros of value for the business, from building our global data backbone to crafting scalable, production models and APIs, to generating actionable insights that can change the competitive landscape of continents. We’re a large, diverse team of engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and product managers comprising Platforms, Analytics, and Data Products. Your Mission:

• Engage with local and global teams to understand the business vision, requirements & priorities and help to translate this into data products.

• Refine, challenge, and support requests from stakeholders and create new data analyses based on commonly defined specifications

• Analyze trends in our data and provide insight and explanation to our local teams to improve their operations using data

• Help identify, define, and specify future insight and data needs to support the different business units

• Improve existing procedures; identify the needs for new procedures; train and advocate the team on quality improvements

• Collaborate with other data analysts, data engineers, and product owners

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience as a BI/Data Analyst working for internet companies

• You have at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject, e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering

• You are proficient in SQL

• You have practical experience with big data tools (e.g Redshift, BigQuery)

• You have experience with version control systems (VCS) (e.g. Github)

• You are creative in data visualization (Tableau experience is a plus)

• Highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail

•  You have an independent and rigorous working style

• You are a team player and love to think outside the box

• You have the ability to understand business challenges and stakeholders' needs

• Good English communication skills

Additional Information

• Strong business understanding in e-commerce or related industries

• Experience in dealing with stakeholders and challenging the scope of projects (or proven records)

• Proven records in adopting and improving team standards and processes

• Experience with other languages and tools for data manipulation, analysis, and plotting (R, Pandas, Malplotlib, Numpy…)
