Job Description

Data Engineer

Owns specific processes and applications within the overall Product Development Process. Their primary role is to work within Engineering and with cross functional organizations such as IT, Manufacturing, Finance, Purchasing and Supply Chain to drive uniformity in the creation and refinement of the processes and applications they own.

 Qualifications

Experience in BIG DATA and software developing SQL, Python, Snowflake, DataBricks, Power BI, JAVA

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Big Data Experience with one or both: SnowFlake, DataBricks
• Languages: SQL, Python
• Data Modeling
• Tool Experience with one or more of the following: MS 365/Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Palantir Foundry, AWS, Azure
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of Management
• Self-starter with a "will do" attitude
• High level of proficiency in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced technical degree such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Systems Analysts, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science experience
• Process Mapping, Business Requirements Writing, Process Documentation
• Highly capable in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Frameworks: Spark, Hadoop

Engineering Process Experience (such as): Planning, Sourcing, Validation, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Program Management.
