JOB OVERVIEW
Our Graduate Summer Internship Program is designed for driven individuals seeking to deepen their expertise, tackle meaningful projects, and gain invaluable professional exposure within the dynamic world of genetics.
Throughout the program, you’ll work on impactful, resume-level projects that align with your skills and career goals, providing you with hands-on experience that translates directly into future opportunities. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, you’ll explore real-world applications of advanced concepts, gaining insights and knowledge that will set you apart in your field. Some of the projects that you will lead/participate in during your internship that will enable you to have this experience, include:
- Assisting in designing and implementing machine learning algorithms for data-driven projects.
- Working with large datasets, clean, preprocess, and analyze data to build actionable insights.
- Support model training and evaluation, and test different algorithms to enhance system performance.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
II. EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Must be currently enrolled in graduate program with an accredited college/university
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
III. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Skill, Abilities and Capabilities):
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Proven experience in cross-functional and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting objectives.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on critical thinking and innovation.
- Solid understanding of fundamental machine learning algorithms and AI principles.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights to inform decision-making.
IV. EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with programming in Python and knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (Pandas, Numpy).
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for AI/ML.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
