Job Summary:
The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Data Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the management, optimization, and security of electronic health record (EHR) systems. This position ensures data accuracy, accessibility, and compliance, making a significant impact on the quality of care provided. In this role, you will oversee the EHR Data and EHR System Administrator teams, ensuring that all systems operate smoothly and efficiently. You will also serve as a backup to the Senior Database Administrator, contributing to the overall success of our data management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Train and supervise team members on EHR Data and EHR System Administration teams.
• Oversee data collection, organization, and validation to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Develop standard operating procedures and manage EHR changes, validating those changes.
• Design, implement, and upgrade EHR systems, including database configurations, integration points, and data migration processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate EHR data strategies into organizational goals.
• Oversee EHR-related builds, including planning, task management, and stakeholder communication.
• Create and manage SQL queries, ETL processes, and reporting tools to analyze clinical and operational data.
• Support system upgrades and disaster recovery processes as needed.
• Assist the primary SQL Database Administrator in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of SQL databases.
• Assist the primary SQL Database Administrator in managing backups, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to support business continuity and data integrity.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Minimum of four years of experience installing/supporting applications and systems analysis/design and integration/design.
• Experience in a healthcare-related field preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect.
• Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
• All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
