Be a part of the Computer Vision Algorithm team! We develop software solutions and algorithms for testing multiple sensors technology for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and future products. You will design and develop computer vision based solutions and frameworks, for calibration of sensors of Apple products from iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro and other projects. Description


This position requires a proficient C++ programmer who has a passion for algorithms, designing robust and modular code. You will be directly responsible for developing and architecting the common blocks of the software framework used to build our algorithms for calibration of Apple products (ranging from feature detection to complex optimization problems), with a team of talented engineers and scientists. Architect, define and maintain a software framework for enabling complex and efficient computation for computer vision algorithms. Build and release of algorithms for on device deployment. Review and optimize algorithms from cross functional teams and third parties.

Minimum Qualifications


  • BS/MS in CS/EE.
  • Strong programming skills in C++.
  • Experienced in building, testing and shipping production software (Cmake, Git, automatic build).
  • API design for libraries/Frameworks, versioning, compatibility, etc.
  • 3+ years of related professional experience.
  • Experience in designing algorithms (computer vision, computer graphics, non linear optimizers).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills; clear communication with diverse teams.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in Algebra, non linear optimizer
  • Experience with image processing and computer vision algorithms
  • Experience with camera and depth sensors
  • Familiarity with ML pipelines and acceleration


Pay & Benefits


  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
