In this role, you will develop, transform, and model data to improve decision making. Responsibilities include:
- Data extraction and manipulation of data sets resulting in workflows and predictive models for end-users using system tools (dashboards)
- Conduct analysis on data to ensure correct predictive forecasting
- Manage the analytics request process by capturing requirements
- Creation and maintenance of the resulting analytic dashboards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph required to start
- Minimum of eleven (11) years of work experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
- Experience integrating diverse data streams
- Establishes data standards and acts as custodian of IT and service delivery data sets and streams
- Experience in analyzing complex networks and systems
- Experience in analyzing log data from various network components and operating systems
- Knowledge of the complex environment involving shared networks and multiple security enclaves
- Systems Engineering with network analyst\engineering background Splunk familiarization and dashboard creation
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Security Development and Operations (SecDevOps)
- Network security background with ability to analyze log data as well as familiarity of how to generate logs and metrics from product suites, such as Cisco, Juniper, and desktop\server OS
- Expertise with Splunk (Power User Cert preferred)
- Hands on experience with Splunk advanced apps such as ITSI, SOAR, and UBAPublic, private and hybrid Cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
