About the Role

As an analyst in our Engineering, Tooling & Data Services team, you will support data-related services for technology including data analytics, data management, support audit procedures, reporting and compliance and risk management. 

Role Type: Permanent
Role Location: Manayata Bangalore 

What will your day look like?

• Improving the collective knowledge of leadership team for better decision-making.
• Help to develop clear guidelines with practical implementation to streamline processes with minimal complexity and maximum efficiency to applicable policies and standards.
• Assisting data manager in working group across different domains uplifting data governance capabilities.
• Ensure there are simple, well documented, and practical standards and processes to manage data governance consistent to applicable standards.
• Collaborating with business groups, data, and risk teams to remediate both data and controls.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Demonstrated knowledge of data governance, data quality and data management practices including data-related regulatory requirements.

• Good understanding of data architecture and conceptual data lineage and data visualisation. 

• Advanced skills and experience developing enterprise-class reporting and analysis solutions.

• Be courageous to deal with complexity and transform into simple solutions.

• A passion and curiosity for data and its consumers.

• An end-to-end understanding of the customer journeys involved in uplifting data governance at ANZ.

• Good discovery, design, and reliable execution skills, to provide the support our customers most need.

• Effective communication skills.

• Support senior team members in the facilitation of stakeholder meetings and workshops.

• Ability to work in a challenging space that requires genuine collaborative and positive working relationships.

• Good working knowledge of ANZ’s Enterprise Data Governance and I.AM Framework

• Experience with data governance, business glossary, analytics, data pipelines will be seen to be an advantage.

• Experience using Enterprise Metadata Repository (EMR) or Alex

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information systems, Risk Management or a related field or equivalent experience
