GSS PowerBI Analyst

The GSS PowerBI Analyst is responsible for the development based on user requirements and regular updates and maintenance of PowerBI dashboards. This role is focused on the responsibility of providing dashboard support for the Markets Intelligence COE as a priority with additional support and development for the global organization. 
 
 
Responsibilities:
•    Design, create, and maintain Power BI reports and data models based on business requirements
•    Interface and communicate with business stakeholders and leadership to understand and define reporting needs
•    Build data views, models, and reports to meet business needs and drive data insights
•    Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and end user guides
•    Ability to analyze and manipulate data to create effective reporting
•    Identify data issues and collaborate with group to assist in data governance
•    Analyze and interpret data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness and usefulness 
•    Provide input on data collection that optimize efficiencies and data quality

Requirements:
•    B.A., B.S. or equivalent business experience    
•    +2 years of experience with data analytics BI Software
•    Fluent in English
•    Proven track record with respect to knowledge of dashboarding tools (data analysis and presentation)
•    Knowledge of Westinghouse and the industry
•    A general understanding of systems and data quality 
•    Intermediate or better proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expression) and Power Query (M Query)
•    Tableau, Qlik, or other data visualization tool experience to be considered
•    Knowledge of SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases
•    Experience with data integration from multiple sources; databases, spreadsheets, SharePoint, cloud services, etc.
•    Strong data visualization and user interface design skills
•    Very good communication skills, and understanding of Project Management basics
•    Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities, manage time and multi-task.
•    Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
•    Desire to produce accurate, high-quality work with attention to detail.
•    Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing needs in evolving situations.
•    Ability to work in a collaborative team environment driving success for the organization
