Data Products & Platform, part of Vestas Digital Solutions is responsible for platforms and services related to business intelligence and data science. We focus on four pillars: training, governance, community, and support. By doing so, we empower more employees to do analytics while ensuring we use our resources effectively. Our area is a strategic area within Vestas Digital Solutions and there is a great demand for our services. As a new member of our team, you will be joining us on our journey to implementing self-service analytics in a global organization. We are working closely with many different business areas in order to enable them to get value from their data and help Vestas maintain its competitive edge.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure a multi-node Dataiku platform deployed on Azure
• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of the Dataiku platform
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize workflows and data pipelines
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for platform updates and deployments
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration and operational procedures
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud architecture and data engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in Linux system administration, managing and optimizing Linux environments
• Expertise in Azure cloud architecture and configuration, with experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. (Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.)
• Hands-on experience with Dataiku or similar data science platforms
• Experience with Python for automation and data processing
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration

• Technical expertise in Linux and Azure environments, with experience in managing and optimizing complex systems
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate system performance and implement solutions
• Good collaboration skills, working effectively with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams
• Adaptability and a focus on continuous learning, and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
• Clear and effective communication, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving approach, identifying and addressing issues proactively to ensure platform reliability and efficiency
