Role Overview

Katalon is a leading provider of innovative software testing solutions, empowering teams to deliver high-quality applications efficiently. We are on a mission to enhance our AI capabilities and are looking for a passionate AI Subject Matter Expert to join our technology division.

As an AI Subject Matter Expert at Katalon, you will leverage your deep expertise in artificial intelligence to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our AI initiatives align with business objectives and enhance our product offerings. This role is not a people management position but requires strong leadership in thought and technical guidance.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the charge in developing and implementing groundbreaking AI strategies that align with Katalon’s vision. Your insights will guide product enhancements and new feature development.
• Serve as the go-to expert for all things AI-related. Provide guidance on machine learning algorithms, data analytics, and AI frameworks, ensuring our solutions are not just effective but also pioneering.
• Dive deep into the latest AI trends and technologies. Conduct thorough research to identify opportunities for innovation that can be translated into actionable strategies for our products.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and data science, to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into our offerings. Your collaborative spirit will foster an environment of creativity and excellence.
• Develop engaging training programs and workshops to elevate team knowledge on AI technologies. Your mentorship will empower colleagues to harness AI effectively in their roles.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 6 years of experience in AI/ML development, with a proven track record of delivering impactful AI-driven products or strategies.
• Experience with popular AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and/or Google.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies in SaaS, enterprise software, or similar industries.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI/ML Ops pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of NLP, computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions.
