Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to identify products that fall within the scope of specific regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring our company's compliance with international trade laws and environmental regulations. You will work directly with stakeholders and turn those requirements into solutions. You will work hybrid from our Milwaukee, WI headquarters. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Data Analytics.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize ERP systems to identify products that are imported, exported, or manufactured within specific countries and determine their regulatory scope.
- Analyze Bill of Materials (BOMs) for products in scope to identify all components and their respective suppliers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data collection strategy to gather detailed information on all components.
- Collaborate with regulatory, engineering, and sourcing teams to ensure alignment and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of data processes and results, ensuring transparency and accessibility for audits and compliance checks.
- Stay updated with changes in regulations and industry standards that impact the company's products and supply chain.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain preferred; other bachelor's level degrees will be considered.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 5+ years of experience with MS Azure or similar data infrastructure, and database knowledge.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience with Power BI (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, Databricks, Python, along with SQL
- Microsoft PL300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) Certification preferred
- Data Storytelling experience
- SAP Ecosystem knowledge
- Experience building end-to-end data solutions/models with focus on integration.
- Direct firsthand experience designing and developing data solutions.
- Ability to decompose an idea into a process, identify the supporting data, and define supporting data structures.
- Domain experience supporting one of the following functional areas:
- Purchasing / Sourcing
- Materials (supply /demand planning / inventory management)
- Global Trade Management (import/export, classification)
- Regulatory compliance
